Fume Extractor System

The need for local exhaust ventilation….

Solder fumes irritate eyes, nose and throat of workers. They also cause problems if the fumes accumulated on equipment. For these reasons, we recommend a fume extractor.

There are different types of fume extractors for a factory environment.

SYSTEM 15

The integral fume extraction system (Bofa 15) is a self-contained fume removal system. Solder fumes are vacuumed through a silicone tube mounted directly to the point of soldering. The combination of the two filtering units (Pre-filter & HEPA filter) removes all harmful gases, thus preventing flux build-up on the iron and extending tip life all while keeping the environment clean and safe.

System 15 Specifications
FILTRATION RATEMore than 99.997%, 0.3m (HEPA)
VACUUM TYPEIP54 Synchronous (Brushless) motor
AIR FLOW70m3/HR
NOISE LEVELBelow 50dB
SIZE360(W) x 330(D) x 500(H) mm
POWERAC230V 1 phase 50Hz or 110V 1 phase 60Hz

VAC-3000

If there is no duct near the work space, use VAC-3000 with VAC-1000.
Three carbons filters make solder fumes and exhaust clean.

The extraction tubing is mounted in close proximity to the iron unit and safely removes solder & flux fumes.
